The Inter-Agency Picnic is a celebration of the 19th Anniversary of the
Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA). The event is sponsored by Anne
Carlsen Center; Development Homes, Inc.; L.I.S.T.E.N.; North Dakota
Association for the Disabled (NDAD); REM-ND; Support Systems, Inc.; Prairie
Harvest Mental Health; and The Arc Upper Valley. NEEDED: Registration, Door Prize Monitors, Food Prep, Food Servers,
Beverage Servers, Clean Up

The forum is a five day training for N.D. high school juniors and seniors with disabilities to share experiences and explore the pirnciples of leadership. Twenty student delegates will develop personal plans in leadership, career, and identifying and using resources to use when returning to their communities. This is an 8 day commitment in July 2009. |
