UND students for their outstanding contributions and leadership development.
Who's Who Among Students in American Universities
and Colleges
The Who's Who Among Students in American Universities &
Colleges program was established nationally in 1934. This program recognizes the top 1% of students at higher
education institutions across the nation. Criteria for selection
include leadership, scholarship, citizenship, and service
to UND. In 1967, the first recipients were recognized at UND and continues to this day. Recipients
are recognized at a reception held in December and sponsored by the Memorial Union.

Memorial Union Recognition Awards
The Memorial Union staff created a program in 1991 to recognize
outstanding student organization advisors, student leaders
and student employees for their contributions to the Memorial
Union. A reception is held every April to honor all award
recipients.
