Emerging Leaders Program
Emerging Leaders is a freshman leadership program funded and operated through Student Government. The program accepts 25-35 freshmen for a commitment of one year. Applications are available in the Student Government office during the first two weeks of school. The Emerging Leaders program is dedicated to enhancing the growth of leadership, campus involvement and career development. Freshmen plan events across campus and are networked with mentors on campus and community. To find out more, stop in the Student Government office, located in the main level of the Memorial Union.

Greek Life
Membership in a fraternity or sorority is one of the most outstanding means of discovering and refining your leadership potential. Within each council and chapter, numerous leadership positions exist, all requiring different degrees of skill and investment. Greek organizations provide opportunities for their members to gain leadership skills that will serve them well in college and beyond. The skills students gain through involvement in their Greek chapter and campus community will greatly benefit them in their chosen career field. Greeks are involved across campus including Student Government, Telesis, Student Ambassadors, and various other organizations, committees and groups.

Leadership Series

Leadership Series
The Leadership Workshop Series is sponsored each semester by the UND Memorial Union - Center for Student Involvement and Leadership. Each series consists of six to seven workshops held weekly during a portion of the semester. General topics include diversity, business leadership, ethics and values, community service, student leadership, and more. All sessions are free and open to everyone.

Attend any seven of the Leader-shops, Leadership Series, or Student Organization Informative Workshops to earn your Leadership Enrichment Certificate.

Leader-shops
The "Leader-shops: Leadership Workshops" are an excellent way to enhance your leadership skills and qualities. Speakers range from faculty and administrators to community and student leaders.

Student managers are responsible for scheduling personnel, ordering materials, planning functions, and helping students for their respective departments and obtain leadership experience from performing their duties as manager and opportunities to attend workshops and leadership development programs offered at UND and at other colleges and universities.
Multicultural Awareness Committee (MAC)
The Multicultural Awareness Committee (MAC) is a standing committee of the Student Government which seeks to enhance students' awareness and tolerance of other cultures. It does this by providing the campus with multicultural programming and speakers on various topics relating to diversity. It also provides funding to student organizations sponsoring events with a similar mission. Visit the MAC web site or contact the Student Government Office (located in the Memorial Union, or via phone at 701-777-4377) to get more information about this committee.
Residence Halls
Students residing in the residence halls have the option of becoming actively involved in numerous leadership positions either in one's hall or through the Association of Residence Halls. The ARH is the governing body of students who represent UND's residence hall system locally, regionally, and nationally. Individual halls have their own governments that offer, among others, the following leadership positions: president, vice president, treasurer, and wing representatives.
Student Activities Committee (SAC)
